DeadConcepts UFC V2 Prototype

The DeadConcepts UFC (Universal Fit Carrier) Prototype is a new plate bag design we have been working to create. The idea behind this carrier is to minimize as much excess fabric as possible, while still keep all of the same features as our standard DeadConcepts Plate Carrier (cable routing sections, pockets on the front and rear plate bags to slide excess Curv material for structure), while also being able to fit Small up to Large SAPI plates all in one sized plate bag. 

The front of the plate bag is sized to a medium SAPI carrier, with 3 straps on the top and sides that wrap around the plate, along with a flap on the bottom, that then are velcroed to the body side panel. These straps allow the plate bag to be sized and fitted exactly to whatever plate the end user is running, removing any shifting of the plate while inside. 

The body side panel features hook on the top, and loop on the bottom to interface with the straps and flap on the front piece. It also has 2 3" straps that cone off the side to attach to the front plate bag. The front plate bag features a hidden flap that allows the rear panel to be attached, while leaving the front velcro on the outside free and clear for attaching placards/cummerbunds.

The shoulder straps attach to the front and rear plate bags via G-Hooks. This allows for a very minimalistic shoulder attachment point to free up space in the shoulder pocket for shouldering a rifle, while also being semi QD for faster donning/doffing. The loops attached to the plate bag are sized slightly wider than 1” to ensure the shoulder strap does not come undone while in compromised positions or while on the move. 

The shoulder straps have two hook and loop straps that come off of each end to allow the end user to size them to themselves and to route through the G-Hook attachment.

Currently this carrier is available for purchase, however this may not be the final design. The design of this carrier is subject to change in the future. If you decide to purchase this carrier, please be aware you are buying a prototype product and there will be no discounts on a newer version once it is finalized. This carrier is still undergoing testing, however we ensure that it will function as intended.

Currently we do not offer this carrier in a size that fits XL plates.
